Abstract

Fascial flaps offer ideal coverage solutions for wounds where a gliding surface is needed (such as tendons, joints), and no bulk is necessary or is to be avoided. Temporoparietal fascia flap is a versatile flap that may be used for both distal coverage of wounds where a gliding surface is preferred, as well as local pedicled use in instances such as ear reconstruction.
