    Abstract

Cancer patients are at increased risk for cystitis due to primary bladder cancer, metastatic disease, infectious etiology due to immunosuppression, or chemical induced due to antineoplastic treatments or radiation induced. Patients at increased risk are ones receiving high dose chemotherapies such as stem cell transplant recipients. We will present urological complications in cancer patients with the associated risk factors, preventative measures, treatments, and outcomes. Morbidity and mortality associated with cancer treatments is further escalated when hemorrhagic cystitis ensues.
