Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To establish the existence of differences in effectiveness and safety of intra-arterial therapies (IATs) such as bland embolisation, conventional transarterial chemoembolisation (cTACE), drug-eluting bead transarterial chemoembolisation (DEBTACE), yttrium-90 (Y90), hepatic artery infusion (HAI), external beam radiotherapies (EBRTs), and immunotherapy versus systemic chemotherapy for unresectable intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma through pairwise meta-analysis and network meta-analysis with subsequent treatment ranking.
