Abstract
Cervical cancer is the third most common malignancy of the lower female genital tract. Cervical cancers are strongly associated with infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV). In this chapter we review the pathology and natural history of cervical cancer. Treatment approaches are discussed, including surgery, radiation, and systemic treatments with chemotherapy and newer options such as immunotherapy. The emphasis of this chapter is to provide clinicians with a broad understanding of diagnosis and management of cervical cancers.
