Sinonasal and skull base tumors

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

The sinonasal and skull base regions are comprised of complex anatomical sites and give rise to widely varied lineage tumors. The diagnosis and differential diagnosis of these entities often pose diagnostic and management challenges. The chapter presents a systematic approach for the substratification of these tumors. A simplified stratagem integrating morphologic and marker profiling in the final categorization of the tumors is detailed for efficient and timely diagnosis. The chapter also introduces newly accepted entities and addresses their implications in the characterization and management of patients with these entities.
