Abstract

In this article the current role of radiation therapy in the management of soft-tissue sarcoma is evaluated. The importance of a multidisciplinary approach in the management of these patients is emphasized. The available literature supporting the possibility of limb salvage is reviewed. Finally, the newest developments in radiotherapy technology are also addressed.
