Abstract

This study examined the relationship between sidedness, recurrences, and survival after initial curative surgery for colon cancer. On adjusted analysis, sidedness was not associated with rate of recurrence or overall survival; however, sidedness was associated with worse recurrence patterns and survival after recurrence.
