    Abstract

A model for the rat phrenic motor neuron (PMN) has been developed that shows many of the characteristics of PMNs. These include the fast and medium after-hyperpolarizations (AHP), the after-depolarization (ADP), and spike frequency adaptation. Preliminary results are presented.
