Acute renal failure as a result of intravenous cholangiography

Abstract

A 43-year-old man was admitted for evaluation of weakness and disturbed liver function. Following intravenous cholangiography with meglumine iodipamide, acute renal failure ensued. After 14 days of dialysis he improved and recovered from this rare complication.
