Abstract

In this article, we review recently published articles related to ultrasound imaging of the breast. The target audience includes clinicians and radiologists who are interested in updating their knowledge in breast ultrasound. Latest advances in a wide range of clinical applications such as diagnostic imaging, interventions, cancer staging, evaluation of response to treatment, and screening ultrasound are discussed.articles were selected for full text review. Basic science papers without current clinical applications were excluded as the target audiences are clinical specialists. A total of 150 articles were reviewed in detail to prepare this article. Occasionally, relevant key articles published prior to 2014 have been discussed to clarify a subject. This review is structured according to key themes.
