An Accidental Radiation Physicist

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

As a medical physicist, I have had a rewarding and enjoyable career. Medical physics is a constantly evolving field offering immense opportunities to make contributions to health care, to conduct exciting, innovative research and grow as a scientist and as a human being. It has been my good fortune to have had the opportunity to work at the two top cancer centers in the world, 25 years at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York and now, for approximately 20 years, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) in Houston, Texas.
