Abstract

In the past five years, significant advances have been made in understanding the causes of thyroid carcinoma and improving methods for diagnosis and management. This article reviews several aspects of the management of thyroid carcinomas, including recent insights into the molecular pathophysiology of tumors, classification and diagnosis, and treatment.
