Abstract

The authors designed a study to determine the efficacy and toxicity of combination treatment with CCNU and NSC 82196 (5-[3,3 Bis(2 chloroethyl) 1 triazeno]imidazole 4 carboxamide) in patients with advanced (predominantly refractory) solid tumors, especially adeno carcinomas. Twenty three patients, 12 men and 11 women ranging in age from 17 to 76 years with a median age of 52, with a variety of disseminated solid tumors were treated.
