The authors regret to advise that a correction is required to figure 2 in this manuscript. This is due to errors in the previous iteration of figure 2, panel D, which included mislabelling and accidentally plotting the same curve twice. The labels for 2023 stage IIIB1 and stage IIIB2 were unintentionally switched in the previous iteration of our figure, thus misrepresenting outcomes for each stage group. Additionally, the curve for 2023 IIIB2 (incorrectly labelled “2023 IIIB1 in the prior iteration of the figure) was accidentally plotted with the same datapoints as 2009 IIIB, resulting in two curves that overlapped one another. We have updated the figure now with correct labels and an accurate survival curve for 2023 stage IIIB2 patients. The updated figure is attached below.
