Abstract

The authors stated that an image was inadvertently duplicated in Fig 5C. The corrected version of Fig. 5 is provided herein. This corrected result does not alter the conclusions of this paper. The authors sincerely apologize for this error and any inconvenience caused.[Figure presented] Fig. 5. LPA induces redistribution and localization of phosphor-FAK, GITI, and p85 β-PIX to cell membrane. (A and B) The crlls were incubated in DMEM without supplements for 16 h and treated with or without 5 μM LPA for 15 min. The cells were fixed and co-stained with indicated antibodies, as described under Materials and methods. (C) The cells stably transfected with vector or p85 β-PIX siRNA were incubated in DMEM without supplements for 16 h and treated with or without 5 μM LPA for 15 min. The cells were fixed, stained with indicated antibodies and were viewed under fluorescence micro-scope, LPA-induced localization of specific proteins to the membrane is indicated by arrows, Scale bars, 20 μm. Data are representative of three experiments with similar results.
