note = "Funding Information: Several existing mechanisms can be quickly used to reach the objectives of this IO research agenda, and should be explored parallel the establishment of other infrastructure. As a consequence of preceding workshops conducted by the Image-Guided Diagnosis and Therapy branch of the NCI, the NCI has recently introduced a quick grants pathway relevant for IGI research, which uses a modular grant mechanism and minimal preliminary investigation for funding. The results of this current workshop may also be used to stimulate additional broad-based program announcements by the NCI, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, and other branches of the National Institutes of Health, as well as requests for proposals by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Research and Education Foundation and American College of Radiology Imaging Network, which can then provide further sources for research support.
