Abstract
Immune checkpoint inhibitors have been approved for treatment of various malignancies. Endocrine dysfunction is one of the most common adverse effects and includes hypophysitis, thyroid dysfunction, insulin-deficient diabetes, and adrenal insufficiency. Diagnosis can be challenging as onset is variable and patients can have damage to more than one organ. However, if diagnosed appropriately and treated in a timely manner, the patients can continue immunotherapy. In this chapter, we present an overview of clinical presentation, diagnosis, management, and long-term follow-up of the more common endocrine adverse effects.
