Abstract

Percutaneous fine‐needle aspiration of breast fibromatosis yielded clusters of uniform spindle cells. The differential diagnosis of spindle stromal cells obtained by fine‐needle aspiration of the breast is discussed. This includes a wide spectrum of both benign and malignant breast lesions that have to be considered prior to suggesting the diagnosis of fibromatosis. Diagn Cytopathol 1987;3:320‐2.
