Abstract

Graft failure following a hematopoietic cell transplant can arise from a variety of causes. In this chapter, we will provide an overview of the underlying biology of engraftment, techniques used to evaluate engraftment, risk factors and causes of graft failure, and the general approach to treating patients experiencing graft failure.
