Abstract

We compare images acquired with high resolution microendoscopy (HRME), HRME with structured illumination (SI-HRME), and confocal microscopy. Gray-level co-occurrence matrix-based contrast shows improved rejection of out-of-focus light with SI-HRME relative to HRME images.
