Abstract

Immunosuppressive modalities such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy have commonly been utilized preoperatively to achieve similar goals. Consideration should now be given to the use of an agent which has been demonstrated to be tumoricidal yet stimulatory to the host's general and tumor immune responses.
