Abstract
Recurrent vaginal clear cell adenocarcinoma was diagnosed in two DES- exposed patients 17 and 19 years after initial therapy. These cases demonstrate the need for continued clinical evaluation, since patients with clear cell carcinoma of the vagina seem to he at greater risk for developing late recurrences than patients with squamous cell carcinomas.
