Abstract

A rare case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma arising from a solitary jejunal diverticulum leading to its perforation is described in a 37‐year‐old male. The patient presented with peritonitis and on exploration revealed perforation of a jejunal diverticulum containing a soft, friable mass. Biopsy from the mass revealed a malignant fibrous histiocytoma. This appears to be the first description in literature of a malignant fibrous histiocytoma with that particular localization.
