abstract = "A high spatial resolution computed radiography (CR) detector was used to develop a phase contrast x-ray imaging prototype with a microfocus x-ray source. The phase contrast imaging was realized with appropriate magnifications. Meanwhile, the basic system parameters, such as the modulation transfer function (MTF) and detective quantum efficiency (DQE) were measured with and without phase contrast effect. The experimental results indicated that the phase contrast can enhance the detectability of the imaging system.",
