Abstract
Several agents have been found to reduce pancreatic cancer risk in epidemiological studies as well as preclinical studies. In this study, we review some of the risk-reducing evidence, chemopreventive, and immuno-modulatory mechanisms mediating their effects. We also review the clinical utility and potential use in interventional prevention trials that ideally should be conducted in high risk populations.
