    Abstract

New findings on the morphology and anatomy of the Neolithic man of the Hauslabjoch and on the type and condition of his equipment are presented and discussed. The results of such analyses, including those obtained by modern radiographic techniques, support the theory of a “personal disaster with a departure in full flight”.
