Olfactory groove and planum meningiomas

Abstract

Meningiomas of the olfactory groove and planum sphenoidale are relatively common skullbase meningiomas. They are typically of low grade but may grow to large size due to the insidious nature of their growth. Surgical resection remains the mainstay of treatment.
