Abstract

Cancer-related pain may occur as a result of both the malignant process itself and treatment course, which can include chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, among others. It is, therefore, a dynamic condition, with an often complex presentation, requiring a thorough assessment and a multimodal approach to management. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of select common pain conditions seen in the cancer population and general approaches on management.
