Abstract

This chapter is devoted to the pathologic features of renal cell carcinoma. It includes the current classification of renal cell carcinomas, description of the different types of renal cell carcinoma, the ancillary techniques used in the diagnosis and typing of renal cell carcinomas, and, finally the grading and pathologic staging of renal cell carcinomas.
