Abstract
Positron emission tomography (PET) and dual PET/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) are important imaging modalities in the assessment of several malignancies. For cervical cancer, PET imaging is being used to stage the primary disease, assess treatment response, and diagnose recurrent tumors. Its role in endometrial cancer is not as fully investigated. This chapter will discuss the current and potential role of PET/CT in evaluating both cervical and uterine malignancies.
