Abstract

This article focuses on the role of a maxillofacial prosthodontist in the rehabilitation of individuals with nonmelanoma skin cancer of the head and neck region, and provides examples of the unique aesthetic demands following surgical removal. In addition, presurgical and postsurgical evaluations, prosthetic materials, and surgical guidelines are discussed.
