Abstract
Technological improvements in proton therapy planning and delivery have led to the expansion and testing of proton therapy for a variety of malignancies, including gynecologic. Combined-modality therapy is frequently delivered either in the adjuvant or definitive setting for multiple gynecologic malignancies. The potential to improve the therapeutic ratio for pelvic malignancies with proton therapy, particularly in the setting of escalated doses to gross disease, warrants further investigation.
