Abstract

The increasing volume of admitted patients requiring glucose management has invoked the development of remote glucose management strategies, which are more efficient and scalable compared to the traditional in-person diabetes specialist consultations. This chapter describes various forms of remote glucose management and their impact on inpatient diabetes management.
