Main text(Cancer Cell 22, 506–523, October 16, 2012) This article, published on October 15, 2012, has been retracted at the request of the Cancer Cell editors. On March 20, 2023, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute (Moffitt) notified the editors that there were significant issues with the publication. Specifically, Moffitt determined that the EZH2 and MYC Jeko-1 panels of Figure 6G were fabricated and/or falsified, and that the Myc Turn-Off b-actin panels of Figures 1B and 5C and the EZH2 and MYC Mino panels of Figures 6A and 6G were duplicated despite representing different experimental conditions. Furthermore, several bands in Figures 7A and 7B appear similar despite representing results from different experimental conditions. Moffitt recommended that the editors retract the article. Given the extent and severity of these issues, the editors have agreed. The editors have made efforts to contact all authors regarding the retraction, but T.L. and Y.Z. could not be reached. W.F., R.R., J.C.C., V.E.M., S.C.-K., E. Seto, W.S.D., K.L.W., E. Sotomayor, and K.B. have agreed with the retraction. X. Zhang, X. Zhao, J.L., K.F., and L.C.M. did not respond. J.T. disagrees with the retraction.
