Abstract
Neoplasms of the sinonasal cavity are uncommon and comprise approximately 3% of head and neck cancers. The symptoms of sinonasal tumors may overlap with sinus inflammatory disease, thereby delaying diagnosis. This delay may lead to substantial growth and invasion of adjacent structures, resulting in a poor prognosis. Tumors may range from juvenile nasal angiofibroma to squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma to melanoma and lymphoma. Tumors may mimic mucoceles, cholesterol granulomas, and infection. Accurate diagnosis is important in determining the prognosis and treatment strategy.
