Abstract
2-Nitrophenyl thioglycofuranosides, were obtained in a good yields from 2,3,5-tri-O-benzyl derivatives of D-arabino-, D-ribo- and D-xylofuranose by treatment with 2-nitrophenylsulphenyl chloride followed triethyl phosphite or phosphine.
