Abstract

Testicular cancer is the most common malignancy for males within the first 4 decades of life, predominantly being germ cell in origin. The chapter describes the epidemiology, risk factors, anatomy and pathology of the scrotum and testes, along with patterns of spread, and staging for testicular germ cell tumors. Radiological imaging plays a crucial role in diagnosis, treatment, and staging of this malignancy. The chapter provides a comprehensive review of the latest imaging modalities and approaches, as well as the treatment approaches for testicular germ cell tumors.
