Abstract

The authors try to show the cyclic AMP concentration in the plasma and urine of patients affected by diffuse and serious psoriasis and of normal subjects. The results show that a lower cyclic AMP plasma concentration and an increased daily elimination of nucleotides through the urine had been found in psoriatic patients compared with the healthy subjects; as the seriousness of the dermatosis grows, this increase seems to grow as well.
