Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effect of inorganic nanometre particle on the growth and reproduction of A549 and L929 cell lines. Methods: A549 and L929 cell lines were devided into control group, calcium carbonate(CaCO3) group, hydroxyapatite( HAP) group and treated with HAP or CaCO3 in vitro respectively, maked out the growth curve, survival rate was measured by MTT methods, and the rate of plating efficiency(PE) was measured too. Conclusions: 1 A549's growth cruve decreased obviously in CaCO3 group, while there no obvious effect on L929's in HAP and CaCO3 group. 2 The CaCO3 particle's OD was 0.44 ± 0.04, 0.42 ± 0.03 at 48h, 72h respectively in L929 cell, which were lower those of the control group (P < 0.01). 3 A549 cell's PE in CaCO3 group was 33. 3%, also lower than that of control group ( P < 0.01).
